Thanks to a modern and avant-garde structure and organisation, the Progresso Agricolo cooperative has conquered a large part of the Italian and foreign market and by marketing its products in large-scale organised distribution.

After a few years, there was a strong need to discover new frontiers and the production and trade of fruit and vegetables in the area as well as olive oil: Queen tomatoes, local type of cucumbers ‘cocomeri’, pumpkin flowers and Polignano potatoes.

The first years were dedicated to the production of olive oil with associates and immediately thereafter to sales production.

Having great passion for the land and its products, but also a great desire to make progress while continuing to respect the genuineness of the crops. This is where “Progresso Agricolo Fasano” comes from, a happy intuition of a group of farmers from the area who started this adventure together.

THE PEOPLE

The strength of the Agricultural Progress cooperative has always been represented by the good entrepreneurial capacity of the members at its helm and by the more than 100 agricultural entrepreneurs who grow fruit and vegetable production destined for the market.

But not only.

Many other people contribute, with their work and their commitment, to the successes of the Agricultural Progress Cooperative: over 60 employees of the cooperative are organised between areas of production, packaging, warehouse and deliveries, administration and quality control of the products. Only together can important results be achieved.

TODAY WE ARE

A company with over 100 members producing, 200 km of area in the land of Puglia, a 2000 m2 factory, of which 600 m2 intended for oil mills, 1000 m2 of fruit and vegetable warehouse – 200 m2 of cold storage – 2 lines for processing vegetables complete with packaging and labelling machines and for refrigerated washing (IDROCOOLER).
